{"id":3106,"date":"2023-02-14T04:49:18","date_gmt":"2023-02-14T04:49:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.venkateshwaragroup.in\/vgiblog\/?p=3106"},"modified":"2023-02-14T04:49:19","modified_gmt":"2023-02-14T04:49:19","slug":"unity-football-tournament","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.venkateshwaragroup.in\/vgiblog\/news\/unity-football-tournament\/","title":{"rendered":"Unity Football Tournament"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.venkateshwaragroup.in\/\">Venkateshwara Group of Institutions<\/a> organized a Unity Football Tournament at its campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Total 5 teams took part comprising Education, B Pharma, D Pharma, Polytechnic &amp; engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.venkateshwaragroup.in\/\">Group Chairman<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drsudhirgiri.com\/\">Dr Sudhir Giri<\/a>, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, VC Dr Rakesh Yadav &amp; the Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh inaugurated the event by cutting the ribbon &amp; by getting introduced with the players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his address, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.venkateshwaragroup.in\/\">Group Chairman<\/a> Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated sports not only make the person strong, self-confident &amp; skilled but also foster their physical, mental &amp; moral development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, the Pro-chancellor, Dr Rajiv Tyagi, stressed that in order to achieve their passion, the players have dedicated themselves to sports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, through focus, hard work, &amp; determination the players have established themselves as respected individuals of the society. All faculties should spare some time for games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, the Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, stated that those who have a passion for games exhibit team spirit &amp; support others become outstanding players. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Polytechnic team won the first encounter by 2-1.
