The Venkateshwara Group of Institutions in Meerut hosted a workshop on ChatGPT and beyond: AI tools every faculty and student must master.
The workshop aimed to prepare our faculty and students for AI, demonstrating how tools like ChatGPT can change teaching, learning, and research.
Dr Monika Makhija, Dean HR at GNIOT Institute of Management Studies, Greater Noida, was the resource person who was being assisted by Ms. Suman Dhami, Outreach Manager.
The Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, the Academic Dean, Dr Rahul Sharma, and the Director of Education, Dr BC Dubey, inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
Education Principal Dr Nitin Raj Verma and the Principal of Pharmacy Dr Ritu Verma joined them to unveil the AI tools workshop.
Dr Monika Makhija asserted that AI tools are there to improve efficiency, accuracy and productivity. She informed about the various AI tools and their applicability in different spheres. Moreover, she stressed that overdependence on AI tools may lead to a decline in cognitive abilities and that for efficiency we should cross-check its results before final submission.
Moreover the Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh reiterated that AI tools are the need of the hour and that, in today’s fast-changing technological landscape, we should upgrade ourselves to use AI tools.
Finally, Dr Rahul Sharma gave the vote of thanks and exhorted students to use AI tools to get future ready. Moreover, Dr Farheen Javed conducted the program exceedingly well.
